At IDEA Foundation, our vision is to create a vibrant and resilient democracy where every individual feels heard, valued, and empowered to shape public life. Our Origins
Founded by educators, civic leaders, policy experts, and grassroots organizers, IDEA Foundation was born from the shared belief that democracy is about trust, relationships, and collective responsibility. We bring communities together to share ideas, explore challenges, and co-create solutions that are inclusive and sustainable.
About Managing Director
Dr. Raju is a distinguished scholar in the field of Political Science, holding both a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. from the renowned Andhra University. In recognition of his outstanding doctoral research, he was honoured with the prestigious Gold Medal by the university in 2015. His academic pursuits extend beyond formal education—he successfully completed a specialized summer school workshop on “Analysing Quantitative Data in Indian Politics”, organized by Lokniti, CSDS, in New Delhi, further sharpening his analytical acumen. A prolific researcher, Dr. Raju has published scholarly articles in internationally reputed journals and has presented numerous research papers at both national and international seminars. His work primarily centers around Indian democracy, public policy, and the dynamics of regional politics, areas in which he has established significant academic and intellectual credibility. Dr. Raju further deepened his expertise by undertaking a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) in Political Science, awarded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. His ongoing research contributions continue to enrich the discourse on Indian political systems, with a particular emphasis on regional developments and policy analysis.
